  1. Decapitalisation Rates announced

    Further to our article in April Scotland is the latest part of the UK to announce the decapitalisation rate for the 2017 Rating Revaluation will be 4.6% (2.9% for health and education).

    This compares with England at 4.4% (2.6% for health and education).

    The Welsh Assembly Government had earlier announced a decapitalisation rate for 2017 of 3.8%, with a lower rate for educational, healthcare and defence properties of 2.1%.

  2. Appeal Changes for 2017 Firmed Up
